Difference between custom Protech Orthotics and Pre-made Orthotics

For patients with severe discomfort, a hand-crafted and customized Protech Orthotic may be necessary to relieve their ailments and is based on the particular patient’s needs. This device is biomechanically customized for the individual, and you don’t even have to come into the office – it can all be done by mail!

Just shop online, find the product that addresses your particular troubles and we will send you an easy-to-use mold. You simply step into the mold and use the self-addressed, pre-paid package to mail it back. With your foot mold, and general information such as shoe size, we are able to design an Orthotic made just for you and your needs. With your new custom fit Orthotic, you will enjoy the benefits of a sturdier step and greatly improved comfort.

A pre-made Orthotic on the other hand is created to generally fit a large number of people, but does not necessarily address their specific needs. We offer standard or pre-made Orthotics for those patients whose discomfort is less severe and for nonspecific needs.
